Family Mourns Loss as Investigation Begins
An 80-year-old man died after being hit by an unknown auto during his morning walk in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – An 80-year-old man died after being struck by an unknown auto while on his morning walk on Wednesday.
He was initially taken to MGM Hospital and later referred to TMH, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
The injured man, identified as Prabhat Bose, was taken to MGM Hospital.
Doctors at MGM Hospital referred him to TMH, but he died on the way.
Prabhat Bose, who resided near Shiv Kali Mandir in Ward 17, had gone for a walk around 7 am.
He was hit by an unknown auto near Sarita Cinema.
Passersby rushed him to MGM Hospital.
When his family arrived at the hospital, the doctors advised them to take him to TMH.
Tragically, Bose passed away en route to TMH.
The family has kept the body in the cold storage of MGM Hospital.
The post-mortem will be conducted on Thursday.
The incident has left the family in deep mourning as they await further investigation into the accident.
