Lakshi Nayek’s Family Performs Last Rites After Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Lakshi Nayek, a 59-year-old resident of Dingasai village in Pathri Panchayat, Baharagora block, East Singhbhum district, died from injuries sustained in a road accident.

JAMSHEDPUR – Lakshi Nayek was on her way back from Baharagora market to her village when something unexpected happened.

On the Baharagora Chowringhee main road, near Kenwaladinga, her motorcycle unfortunately slipped, resulting in serious injuries.

The local residents and the 108 ambulance service promptly took her to the Community Health Center in Baharagora.

As her health declined, her family decided to transfer her to PRM Medical College in Baripada with the help of the 108 ambulance service.

Despite the best efforts, the doctors unfortunately had to pronounce her deceased during the course of treatment.

After the post-mortem in Baripada, her family returned to their village on Monday afternoon to carry out her final rituals.

The unfortunate passing of Lakshi Nayek has deeply saddened the community, shedding light on the risks associated with road travel and emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced safety precautions.
