A 30-year-old youth named D Bodra committed suicide by hanging himself with a scarf early Thursday morning in Kulupatanga colony under RIT police station in Adityapur, Seraikela Kharsawan.

ADITYAPUR – Early Thursday morning, D Bodra, a 30-year-old youth, was found hanging in Kulupatanga colony under RIT police station in Adityapur, Seraikela Kharsawan.

The family immediately took him to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The deceased was unmarried and reportedly mentally disturbed.

Unemployment is cited as a possible reason for his decision to commit suicide.

The police have sent his body for post-mortem and are currently investigating the matter.

This incident highlights the pressing issues of mental health and unemployment, which can have tragic consequences.
