Jamshedpur Police Arrest 3 in Connection with Brutal Attack on Local Resident

Suspect’s Wife Allegedly Had Past Relationship with Victim, Leading to Assault

In a shocking incident, a Jamshedpur resident was brutally attacked with a sharp weapon near the Sunday Market area of Birsanagar on Tuesday night.

JAMSHEDPUR – The police have apprehended three individuals, including a woman, in connection with the vicious assault on A Singh, a resident of Golmuri Namda Basti.

The arrested suspects have been identified as R Nayak alias Panda, S Nayak, and Y Das.

The police have also seized the motorcycle used by the accused during the crime.

All three suspects were sent to jail on Friday following their arrest.

According to Birsanagar police station in-charge Nemdhari Singh, the victim had a previous romantic relationship with the woman, who is now married to R Nayak, one of the accused.

Despite her marriage, A Singh allegedly continued to harass S Nayak by frequently calling her, even after being warned to stop.

On the night of the incident, S Nayak reportedly called A Singh to a location where she, her husband R Nayak, and his associate Y Das were already present.

The group then allegedly launched a joint attack on A Singh, leaving him severely injured.

The victim was initially rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment but was later referred to RIMS, Ranchi, due to the severity of his injuries.

A Singh is currently undergoing medical treatment at the Ranchi facility.
