Villagers Rescue Yamuna Sundi from Bear Attack; She is Now Undergoing Treatment

The 60-year-old resident of Toira village in Surbuda Panchayat was in the forest for some work when the incident occurred.
The bear inflicted serious injuries on Yamuna Sundi, targeting her chest and back.
Upon hearing her cries for help, nearby villagers rushed to her aid and managed to chase the bear away.
The woman’s family members hurriedly took her to Chakradharpur Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.
Yamuna Sundi is currently receiving medical care for her injuries at the hospital.
