S Kumari’s Family Accuses Husband and In-Laws of Murder, Police Investigation Underway

Sangeeta Kumari, a resident of Turiyabeda in Jamshedpur’s MGM police station area, was found dead by hanging on Friday night, with her family alleging foul play.

JAMSHEDPUR – S Kumari, living near Turiyabeda in the MGM police station area, was discovered hanging late on Friday night.

Her maternal family reported the incident to the police, and her body was taken to MGM Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Doctors at the hospital declared her dead upon arrival.

S Kumari’s family claims she was murdered by her husband, R Prajapati, along with her in-laws.

S Kumari, originally from Golpahari in the Parsudih police station area, married Raju Prajapati of Turiyabeda in 2018.

The couple has two children, aged two and four.

According to her family, S Kumari faced continuous harassment from her in-laws over dowry demands.

Authorities have taken S Kumari’s body into custody for post-mortem.

The exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report is released.

This incident highlights the persistent issue of dowry harassment and the tragic consequences it can have.

The local community is in shock, and the police are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.
