The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) election campaign committee convened a meeting in Bistupur to discuss the party’s role and strategy in ensuring victory for the India Alliance candidate in the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), a key constituent of the India Alliance, held a crucial meeting in Bistupur to deliberate on its approach and tactics for securing the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat for the alliance’s candidate.
The meeting, chaired by senior RJD leader Sharda Devi, who serves as the convenor of the RJD election campaign committee in the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, was attended by members of the convenor group, district president, cell presidents, and senior party leaders.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, the National President of RJD and the central figure of the India Alliance, has expressed unwavering determination to ensure the victory of all alliance candidates.
Participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of working collaboratively and devising a comprehensive strategy to conduct an intensive public contact campaign.
Addressing the gathering, Sharda Devi asserted that the current political landscape poses a threat to democracy, with the BJP government allegedly seeking to alter the Constitution.
She accused the government of pushing a religious agenda to disrupt social harmony and divide the nation.
Devi also highlighted electoral bonds as the most significant scam in the country, claiming that the current government is attempting to conceal it.
In light of these challenges, she stressed the increased responsibility of RJD workers and called for adherence to coalition principles to secure the victory of the alliance candidate, Sameer Mohanty, from the Jamshedpur seat.
During the meeting, a proposal was passed to convene separate meetings for all party cells in the near future, and a decision was made to announce assembly-wise in-charges soon.
