CPI Criticizes Modi Government’s Religion-Based Politics, Highlights Pressing Issues Facing the Nation
The Communist Party of India (CPI) and the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) convened a Kolhan level meeting on Saturday at the party office in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, to discuss strategies for ensuring the victory of Indi alliance candidates in the region.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant gathering, the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) held a Kolhan level meeting at the party office in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, on Saturday to formulate a strategy for securing the victory of Indi alliance candidates in the upcoming elections.
CPI District Secretary Ambuj Thakur emphasized the crucial nature of this election, asserting that the Modi government has been preoccupied with religion-based politics and rhetoric while neglecting issues of public interest.
Thakur highlighted the pressing concerns facing the nation, including inflation, unemployment, illiteracy, women’s safety, and labor laws, which he claimed the Modi government has failed to address, instead focusing solely on politics in the name of religion.
He pointed out that inflation and unemployment have reached alarming levels, leaving the public in a state of shock and distress.
Thakur criticized the current trend of electing individuals to Parliament who prioritize providing benefits to corporate houses over serving the public interest.
The Left parties, according to Thakur, are committed to working towards the victory of Indi alliance candidates and sending them to Parliament, with the aim of promoting public and national interests.
The meeting served as a platform for the CPI and AITUC to discuss strategies and mobilize their support base to ensure the success of their allied candidates in the Kolhan region.
The Left parties’ focus on addressing the genuine concerns of the people, such as economic hardships, social issues, and labor rights, stands in stark contrast to what they perceive as the divisive and distracting politics of the ruling party.
