Tata Steel Business Head Discovered Critically Injured, Succumbs During Treatment

Vinay Tyagi, the National Business Head for Tata Pravesh doors manufactured by Tata Steel, was stabbed to death near Khaitan Public School in Shalimar Garden, Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel executive Vinay Tyagi was discovered gravely wounded near a drain close to Khaitan Public School in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, succumbing to his injuries despite being rushed to Narendra Mohan Hospital for treatment.

The 42-year-old Tyagi, who resided in Delhi with his wife and two children, had recently been transferred from Kolkata to the capital.

Sahibabad police are examining CCTV footage and conducting manual surveillance as part of their ongoing investigations into the incident.

Tyagi’s mobile phone and laptop were reported missing following the attack, which occurred around 3 am on Saturday.

According to Shalimar Garden ACP Siddharth Gautam, Tyagi sustained significant wounds to his chest and stomach, with minimal blood found at the crime scene.

Forensic teams are currently investigating the case, with three teams deployed to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Tyagi, known to frequently commute to the office by metro, had shared his location around 11 pm on Friday, prompting his family to initiate a search when he failed to return home by his usual time of 10 pm.
