JNAC Halts Unauthorized Night Construction, Confiscates Materials

Jamshedpur Officials Take Action Against Illicit Building Activities

The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) intervened to stop illegal construction work being carried out late at night, confiscating all materials and equipment found at the site.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a decisive move, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) cracked down on unauthorized construction activities taking place during the late hours of the night, putting a halt to the illicit work and seizing all associated goods.

Manas Satpathy, a junior engineer and representative of Civil Society, was present at the scene during the operation.

The Jharkhand High Court had previously cautioned JNAC officials of potential repercussions for failing to address illegal construction within their jurisdiction.

Sachin Kumar Jha, the Jayanti officer, led the entire team in the successful intervention, which occurred at approximately 11:00 pm.

Departmental action has been initiated in response to the court’s warning, with the police confiscating all items related to the unauthorized construction.

The illegal activity involved casting work being conducted well into the night, prompting the swift response from JNAC authorities.
