Labour Day Festivities at DBMS College Include Performances and Gifts for Staff
Labour Day at DBMS College of Education in Jamshedpur was a vibrant affair, filled with cultural performances and recognition of the non-teaching staff’s contributions.
JAMSHEDPUR – The DBMS College of Education celebrated Labour Day with special festivities, beginning with a traditional lighting of the lamp and extending a warm welcome to all non-teaching staff through aarti and floral greetings.
The event featured a rich array of performances, starting with a welcome song by B.Ed first semester students including Pammi Kumari, Vandana Prasad, Soma De, Anisha Sharma, Rashmi Soren, Pooja Tandon, and Vijay Lakshmi Kumari.
A dramatic presentation by third semester students added to the day’s entertainment, followed by a series of games designed for all employees, enhancing the camaraderie and festive spirit.
The celebration culminated with the manager presenting gifts to the non-teaching staff, acknowledging their indispensable roles in the college. Notable staff members recognized included Vandana Kumari, Malti, Sunita, and others, highlighting their valuable contributions.
The program was smoothly orchestrated by B.Ed students Diya Pramanik and Akansha Kumari, with a vote of thanks delivered by Meeraj Fatima.
Distinguished attendees such as College President B. Chandrashekhar, Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan, and other key members of the faculty and administration also participated, contributing to the success of the event.
