Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Constituency Cancels Six Nominations After Detailed Review

Scrutiny in Jamshedpur resulted in the cancellation of six nominations for errors.

Thorough vetting by election officials left six candidates ineligible for the 2024 elections.

JAMSHEDPUR – Six candidates were disqualified after a thorough review of their nomination papers.

Ananya Mittal, the Returning Officer for the 9-Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, supervised the scrutiny.

The process occurred in the Collectorate Auditorium under General Observer Killu Shiv Kumar Naidu.

Candidates, their proposers, and agents attended the review while videography documented the event.

The six candidates disqualified included Mangal Hembram of the All India Jharkhand Party, and five independents.

The last date for candidates to withdraw nominations is May 9.
