RANCHI – The political landscape in Jharkhand heats up as key candidates from the JMM, BJP, and Congress submit their official nominations for the Lok Sabha elections.

Anupama Singh from the Congress party has launched her political career by entering the Lok Sabha race from Dhanbad.

Accompanied by her husband, Anoop Singh, MLA of Bermo, and Jharia’s MLA, Purnima Neeraj Singh, her candidacy marks her debut in the political arena.

She seeks victory against BJP’s Dhullu Mahato, MLA from Baghmara, who has also filed his nomination.

Prior to her nomination, she engaged in traditional rituals for blessings and later, addressed a large rally in Dhanbad, supported by prominent leaders including Chief Minister Champai Soren and former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana Soren.

Local Developments in Koderma and Hazaribagh

Vinod Singh of the India Alliance has filed from Koderma, where he faces a direct challenge from Annapurna Devi of the BJP.

Singh, a three-time MLA from Bagodar, was supported at his nomination event by several notable leaders, highlighting his strong political backing.

Election Fervor in Hazaribagh

In Hazaribagh, JP Patel of the Congress, supported by former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha, filed his nomination, setting the stage for a keen contest with BJP’s Manish Jaiswal.
