Gangaur Sindhara Utsav Celebrated in Jamshedpur

11th Annual Festival Lights Up Sonari Rajasthan Bhawan

The 11th Gangaur Sindhara Utsav held at Rajasthan Bhawan Sonari showcased traditional Rajasthani culture and music.

JAMSHEDPUR – Bhayli Mahila Mandal successfully hosted the 11th edition of the Gangaur Sindhara Utsav at Rajasthan Bhawan Sonari, a celebration rich in tradition and community spirit.

A broad spectrum of community members, including influential figures and the Shyam Sakhi Mahila Mandal, participated in the festivities, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

Notably, six senior women from Sonari were recognized for their community contributions, receiving special accolades during the event.

The ceremony featured an array of cultural performances, including dances and songs that highlighted the festival’s Rajasthani roots.

Renowned Bhajan singer Mahabir Agarwal captivated attendees with his renditions of Rajasthani and Gangaur melodies, adding to the event’s festive mood.

Sudha Gupta, social activist and spouse of Health Minister Banna Gupta, graced the event as the chief guest, inaugurating the celebration with enthusiasm.

Under the guidance of Bhayli Mahila Mandal’s president Kavita Agarwal, the festival honored the contributions of elderly women in the community, fostering a sense of appreciation and continuity.
