Navishkar 2024 Commences in Jamshedpur, Targets 50,000 Youth Innovators Across India

Jamshedpur hosts the launch of Navishkar’s second edition, India’s premier platform for young innovators

Jamshedpur’s Chamber Bhawan auditorium served as the backdrop for the grand inauguration of Navishkar 2024, marking the commencement of the second edition of India’s most comprehensive initiative dedicated to empowering young innovators.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Innovation Research Incubation and Innovation Council orchestrated the event, which saw the attendance of notable figures such as Bihar Roadbase Founder Dilkhush Kumar, Co-founder Siddharth Shankar Jha, and Manoj Kumar Singh from the Government of India’s Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

Navishkar 2024 has set its sights on an ambitious target of engaging 50,000 youth innovators hailing from 200 cities across the nation, with the aim of cultivating a thriving ecosystem that nurtures innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

The initiative will feature a week-long physical boot camp and a grand finale hosted in Jamshedpur, encompassing six zones, designed to foster and showcase the potential of budding entrepreneurs.

Partnerships with 50 incubation centers, notably including Jaipur-based start-up Chaupal, are anticipated to significantly bolster the start-up landscape, particularly in Jharkhand.

In his address, Manoj Kumar Singh underscored the vital necessity of a societal shift in mindset towards entrepreneurship, emphasizing its immense capacity to generate employment opportunities.

Dilkhush Kumar shared his transformative journey from a humble taxi driver to the proprietor of Bihar’s most extensive taxi enterprise, motivating the youth to embrace calculated risks and dream big, thereby instilling faith in the potential of start-ups in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Navishkar’s founder, Amar Nath Singh, delineated the program for the 2024 edition, welcoming applications from April 6th to May 20th, succeeded by a stringent selection process culminating in a grand finale on July 28th and 29th in Jamshedpur.

The event drew to a close with Amar Nath Singh conveying his appreciation to all attendees and guests, reaffirming the dedication to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

The attendance of members from the Innovation community and delegates from various local start-ups highlighted the collaborative spirit propelling Navishkar’s vision forward.
