BJP’s Sita Soren targets JMM, vows to probe husband’s death in Jharkhand
Sita Soren, contesting from Dumka for BJP, promises a thorough investigation into her husband’s death upon BJP’s victory in Jharkhand.
RANCHI – In a significant political move, Sita Soren, the BJP candidate for Dumka Lok Sabha seat, pledged to initiate an investigation into her late husband Durga Soren’s death, contingent on BJP’s electoral victory in Jharkhand.
Addressing party workers in Jamtara, she criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for ignoring her and her demands for an inquiry into her husband’s demise.
Feeling sidelined within JMM, she highlighted her transition to BJP on March 19, after resigning from JMM’s primary membership and her legislative assembly seat.
Soren accused the current Jharkhand coalition government of corruption, specifically in the exploitation of land and stone resources.
Her commitment to seeking justice for her husband’s unexplored death has been a consistent stance, previously emphasized during a press conference in Ranchi where she lamented the naturalization of his death without proper investigation.
Asserting BJP’s development agenda, Soren confidently projected a clean sweep of all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections, positioning her party as a beacon of progress and accountability.
