SERAIKELA – The BJP candidate from Khunti seat and the Union Minister, Arjun Munda, visited Kharsawan-Kuchai block, engaging villagers in Dalbhanga, Kuchai about central government schemes.
During his visit on Thursday, former Rugudih Panchayat head Pratima Devi and Baruhatu’s Jagdish Munda, along with supporters, joined BJP.
Munda incorporated them into the party, symbolized by donning the party belt.
Munda highlighted his tenure’s achievements, stating his efforts have showcased Khunti’s specialties globally.
He emphasized historic decisions aimed at developing the Khunti area, ensuring tribal welfare, and facilitating direct benefits from government schemes to farmers.
Munda credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for India’s strong global presence, advocating for Modi’s government continuation for national progress.
He critiqued opposition parties for lacking policy, leadership, and determination, contrasting BJP’s nation-building politics with their power-centric approach.
The event saw attendance from district and local BJP leaders, showcasing a united front for upcoming endeavors.
"Many historical works were done in the last five years, the specialties of this place were taken to all parts of the world," Munda remarked, celebrating the region’s development under his and Modi’s leadership.
He praised Modi’s vision for India, aiming for a developed country by 2047, and highlighted the direct reach of Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers.
Criticizing the opposition, Munda asserted their failure in comparison to BJP’s governance and Modi’s widespread approval.
Notable attendees included District President Uday Singhdev, MP representative Vijay Mahato, and several local BJP leaders, demonstrating significant party support for Munda’s initiatives.
