Tata Steel’s Commitment to Sustainability Honored with Three Awards

At the 18th CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2023, Tata Steel’s dedication to sustainable practices and biodiversity management earns prestigious accolades.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s leadership in sustainable business practices was celebrated at the 18th CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2023 in New Delhi, where the company was honored with three distinguished awards on March 19, 2024.

The Commendation for Significant Achievement in Corporate Excellence award recognized Tata Steel’s comprehensive integration of sustainability principles into its operations, including safety, resource management, community initiatives, and environmental efforts.

In addition to corporate excellence, Tata Steel received two awards for Excellence in Biodiversity for its Noamundi Iron Mine and Ferro Alloys and Manganese Division (FAMD), spotlighting the company’s commitment to biodiversity conservation and environmental stewardship.

The awards, acknowledging efforts in habitat enhancement and sustainability initiatives, were accepted by key Tata Steel representatives, emphasizing the company’s collaborative approach to achieving sustainability goals.

Tata Steel’s recognition at the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards highlights its ongoing commitment to responsible practices and its vision for a sustainable future in the steel industry and the communities it serves.
