JAMSHEDPUR – The Steel Plants Sports Board (SPSB) Basketball Championship 2023-2024, held from March 15-17 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, concluded with Tata Steel securing a decisive win against Rourkela.
The final match, witnessed by a spirited crowd, ended with a scoreline of 72-54, crowning Tata Steel as the champions.
The Chief Guest for the final match was Mukul Vinayak Choudhary, renowned for his role as Chief of Sports, who along with the Guest of Honour, Sanjay Kumar Singh, added prestige to the event.
Mayank Gupta, a pivotal player for Tata Steel, was celebrated as the Best Player of the tournament, a testament to his outstanding performance throughout the championship.
