Peace Committee Meeting Held at RIT Police Station for Holi, Ramzan, and Elections

Authorities Appeal for Harmony and Adherence to Model Code of Conduct

A peace committee meeting was convened at the RIT police station on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming Holi and Ramzan celebrations, as well as the Lok Sabha elections, with authorities appealing for harmony and adherence to the Model Code of Conduct.

JAMSHEDPUR – A peace committee meeting was held at the RIT police station on Wednesday to address the upcoming celebrations of Holi and Ramzan, along with the Lok Sabha elections, where authorities urged the community to maintain harmony and follow the Model Code of Conduct.

On this occasion, Vinod Srivastava, outgoing Adityapur Municipal Corporation, Om Prakash, Vice President of Seraikela Bar Association, ASI, SI, constable etc. were mainly present.

The dignitaries present also expressed their views.

Appealed to people to celebrate the festival of Holi in a cordial manner.

At the same time, Vice President of Seraikela Bar Association Om Prakash and former Mayor of Adityapur Municipal Corporation Vinod Srivastava gave information about the rules of Model Code of Conduct.

Appealed to people of all communities to celebrate the festival in a peaceful environment.

He said that the code of conduct is in force regarding the Lok Sabha elections, and in view of this, special monitoring is being kept on social media. Also, the police will keep a close watch on those who create ruckus during this holy festival of colours.

The history of Holi RIT has always been cordial and peaceful. Therefore, celebrate the festival of Holi with harmony while keeping your identity intact.

During this, the police station in-charge appealed to the members of the peace committee to celebrate the festival with mutual love and brotherhood.

In the meeting, RIT police station in-charge including former mayor Vinod Srivastava, Seraikela Bar Association vice president Om Prakash and dignitaries from different communities of the police station area were present.

The meeting was presided over by Gamharia Circle Officer Kamal Kishore Singh and RIT police station in-charge Vinay Kumar.
