Jamshedpur Residents Thank MP Bidyut Mahato for Bolstering Connectivity
The Railways’ announcement of a special Holi train from Tatanagar to Saharsa Junction in Bihar has been met with joy by the residents of Mithila, who hailed the decision and expressed their gratitude to MP Bidyut Baran Mahato for the introduction of the second train service catering to the region.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Maithils have expressed happiness at the decision to launch a special Holi train from Tatanagar to Saharsa. They lauded the MP Bidyut Baran Mahato for the initiative in this connection.
Present on the occasion were Sudhanshu Ojha, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Ranjit Mishra, Rajesh Ranjan, and others.
The special train, number 08853, will depart from Tatanagar Railway Station at 7:20 pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from March 18 to April 05, covering Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jasidih, Kiul, New Barauni, Begusarai, and Khagaria, before arriving at Saharsa station at 11:20 am the next day.
Bidyut Baran Mahato assured that the Railway ministry had been duly informed about the request to extend the train service to Jaynagar and promised swift action on these demands.
The locals emphasized the significance of this development in bolstering hopes for a direct train service to Jaynagar, stating that the people of Mithila had long demanded the regularization of the train service to Saharsa and its extension to Jaynagar.
Many residents conveyed their gratitude to MP Bidyut Mahato with garlands and bouquets while hailing the commencement of the new train service as a historic achievement, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for their roles in making this initiative possible.
On Tuesday, the Jamshedpur residents of the Mithila community welcomed the announcement and extended their appreciation to MP Bidyut Baran Mahato for the introduction of the second train service catering to the Mithila region.
The decision to introduce the special train was taken in response to the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the Holi festival.
