Ispat and South Bihar Express trains stop again at Sonua station in Chakradharpur division after COVID-19 hiatus
The stoppage of Ispat and South Bihar Express trains has resumed at Sonua Railway Station in the Chakradharpur railway division, following a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.
JAMSHEDPUR – Former Minister and MLA Joba Majhi, along with former MLA Gurucharan Nayak, extended a warm welcome to railway officials and the public at a ceremony organized by the Railways at Sonua Railway Station. They also jointly flagged off the Howrah-Kantabanji Up Ispat Express, marking the resumption of train services at the station.
Following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, the halt for express trains at Sonua railway station was reinstated on Thursday, fulfilling the persistent demands of the local community. After a hiatus during the pandemic, the stoppage of Ispat and South Bihar Express trains has resumed at Sonua Railway Station, situated in the Chakradharpur railway division.
