State Government to Intervene in Incab Company Case in NCLT

Assurance on Direct Electricity Connections in Cable Town, Jamshedpur Within 15 Days

The state government commits to resolving the Cable Town electricity issue and intervening in the NCLT case for cable workers.

JAMSHEDPUR – The government has pledged to address the issue of providing direct electricity connections to Cable Town residents within 15 days.

This commitment came from Minister Badal Patralekh during a discussion in the Assembly, prompted by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy’s resolution.

The Assembly Speaker directed Patralekh and Roy to convene and seek a solution regarding the cable company’s challenges.

Following the debate, a meeting featured Minister Patralekh, MLA Roy, and Industries Secretary Jitendra Singh, focusing on the government’s intervention in the NCLT case.

The government aims to secure dues for Incab employees and kickstart industrial activities on Cable Town’s 177 acres to boost employment.

Roy’s resolution also highlighted the need for Tata Steel UISL to provide essential services like electricity and cleanliness services to Cable Town.

Additionally, proposals include establishing a sports and arts-culture center on the cable company’s land and ensuring cable workers’ salary and allowance arrears.

Roy expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s initial response, seeking a definitive stance on direct electricity provisioning by Tata Steel UISL.

The subsequent meeting with Tata Steel officials indicated their readiness to supply electricity, awaiting government or administrative direction.

Patralekh’s assurance aims to swiftly address these issues, focusing on legal consultations to expedite the resolution for cable workers through NCLT.
