New Jharkhand CM pledges to fulfill Hemant Soren’s vision

Champai Soren, the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Jharkhand, commits to accelerating the development projects initiated by his predecessor, Hemant Soren, focusing on the welfare of all communities.

RANCHI – Champai Soren has taken charge as Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, promising to prioritize the state’s all-round development and swiftly complete the initiatives started by former Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Addressing the media after his oath-taking ceremony, Soren outlined his government’s dedication to fulfilling the aspirations of the people and continuing the legacy of progress.

He expressed his administration’s intent to work on various sectors, including rural and urban development, healthcare, and education, emphasizing the focus on peace and public interest.

Soren highlighted the ongoing struggle of Hemant Soren for justice and reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals and vision that have shaped Jharkhand’s development path.

Upholding Tribal and Indigenous Rights

Soren’s administration vows to protect the identity of tribal and indigenous communities, aligning with the state’s foundational goals. He mentioned the government’s efforts to embody the vision of ‘Abua Dishom, Abua Raj’ and the principles of Dharti Aaba, ensuring development that respects and promotes the state’s cultural heritage.

Thwarting Opposition and Strengthening Alliances

The Chief Minister credited the strength of the alliance for overcoming the opposition’s attempts to destabilize the state through misinformation. He assured that the government’s strategy, including the preventive measure of sending MLAs to Hyderabad, is aimed at safeguarding the state’s political stability and ensuring a successful floor test.

Legacy of Resistance and Development

Reflecting on the state’s history of resistance and the contributions of tribal leaders and martyrs, Soren emphasized the government’s commitment to elevating the living standards of tribals, indigenous people, Dalits, and all citizens. He stressed the importance of continuing the fight for justice and development, inspired by figures like Lord Birsa Munda and Sido-Kanhu.
