MGM Medical College Students Protest Against Alleged ‘Fake Training’

Paramedical Students Demand Halt to Alleged 15-Day Training in Jamshedpur

Paramedical students at MGM Medical College Hospital in Jamshedpur rally against a 15-day fake training program for contract workers, demanding immediate action.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Para Medical Staff Association and students of MGM Medical College Hospital in Jamshedpur have launched a protest against the alleged 15-day fake training program for contract workers.

This controversial training, reportedly directed by the Health Minister and implemented by the Director General of Health Services, grants Diploma in Lab Technician certificates to participants.

Paramedical students at MGM Medical College are calling for an immediate cessation of this training and the cancellation of any fraudulent registrations.

A memorandum expressing their concerns has been submitted to various authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner, Chief Minister, Health Minister, and the Jharkhand State Para Medical Council.

The students argue that their legitimate enrollment and extensive training are being undermined by this short-term training, which they deem fraudulent.

Association President Ramvriksh Mahato highlighted that instead of addressing the issue, the government is allegedly attempting to regularize these contract workers.

The protest reflects a growing sentiment against what the students perceive as a corruption of their educational and professional standards.

Their demand for justice has been amplified by an appeal to the press and media, indicating a serious challenge to the current practices within the medical college.

The students vow to continue their protests and potentially escalate to more intense demonstrations until their demands are met, holding the Jharkhand government accountable for any consequences.
