Bhajantri also instructed officials to relocate those sleeping in the open to nearby night shelters.

The DM advised the public to stay indoors unless necessary, especially the elderly and children, in light of the increasing cold.

He encouraged staying informed through local media and urged people to wear warm clothing when going outdoors.

Bhajantri emphasized consuming nutritious food and hot beverages to maintain body heat.

He also cautioned against the unsafe use of lanterns, lamps, and coal fireplaces in enclosed spaces, advising proper smoke ventilation and careful handling.

During the distribution, Bhajantri directed the District Social Security Cell to ensure widespread blanket availability.

He mandated officials to ensure no one sleeps in the open during the cold wave.

All officers are to conduct night inspections, equipped with sufficient blankets, and endeavor to accommodate everyone in night shelters.

District Public Relations Officer Rohit Kumar, Assistant Director Social Security, and other officials were present during this initiative.
