Tatanagar-Bilaspur Route Enhanced with Additional Stoppage at Himgir Odisha
South Eastern Railway introduces new stop at Himgir (HGR) for Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express trains on an experimental basis starting Monday.
JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway has announced the introduction of a new stoppage for the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express (Train No. 18113) and the Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express (Train No. 18114).
The new stoppage will be effective from December 4, 2023, for the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express, and from December 5, 2023, for the Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express.
For the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express, starting its journey on December 4, the new stop will have an arrival time of 02.55 hrs and a departure time of 02.57 hrs.
Similarly, for the Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express commencing on December 5, the stoppage will be at 21.47 hrs for arrival and 21.49 hrs for departure.
This initiative is being undertaken on an experimental basis and will continue until further notice, as per the South Eastern Railway’s statement.
The introduction of this new stop is anticipated to offer enhanced convenience and connectivity for passengers traveling on this route.
The Tatanagar-Bilaspur line is a crucial segment of the South Eastern Railway network, connecting significant regions.
Rail officials said that this development is part of the broader efforts to improve passenger services and accessibility in the Indian railway system.
