Jamshedpur Bar Advocates Discuss Issues with Jharkhand State Bar Council Vice Chairman

Jamshedpur District Bar Association advocates meet with Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla.

JAMSHEDPUR – Prominent members of the Jamshedpur District Bar Association today visited the residence of Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Vice Chairman of the Jharkhand State Bar Council and senior advocate, to discuss various issues.

They informed Mr. Shukla about the challenges faced by advocates and matters related to the elections of the Jamshedpur District Bar Association.

Acknowledging his effective leadership, the advocates honored and greeted Mr. Shukla with a shawl, representing the collective appreciation of Jamshedpur’s legal community.

They praised Mr. Shukla’s support to advocates across the state, particularly in shaping welfare schemes for legal professionals in Jharkhand.

The advocates expressed pride in Mr. Shukla being awarded the Advocate Ratna in eight states, highlighting his achievements as a matter of pride for all Jharkhand advocates.

Mr. Shukla has been invited as the chief guest for the Advocates Day program on December 3, 2023, in Jamshedpur.

Advocates including Paramjit Srivastava, Akshay Jha, and Ravindra Kumar, among others, also commended Mr. Shukla’s contributions, labeling him as the state’s pride.

The Seraikela District Bar Association also met with Mr. Shukla, discussing their challenges.

Mr. Shukla, affirming his commitment to the advocacy community, stated his continued dedication to protecting the interests of state advocates.

He emphasized the need for the implementation of the Advocate Protection Act and for the allocation of funds in the state budget for advocates, like in other states.

Mr. Shukla addressed the advocates’ dissatisfaction regarding the non-implementation of government announcements for lawyers.

He assured that the upcoming elections in the Jamshedpur and Chaibasa District Bar Association, as well as in the Seraikela District Bar, would be conducted fairly and transparently.

Expressing gratitude for the honor, Mr. Shukla reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the interests of advocates are never overlooked.
