West Bokaro Triumphs in Tata Steel’s Handball Tournament
Tata Steel’s Inter Divisional Handball Tournament at the JRD Tata Sports Complex concludes, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Sports Department successfully organized the Inter Divisional Handball Tournament from November 22 to 24 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Captain Amitabh, Head of Skill Development at Tata Steel Foundation, attended as the Chief Guest.
Vibhuti D Adesara, Head of Sports (Training Centres and Events), was the Guest of Honour during the prize distribution ceremony.
The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from 16 units of Tata Steel.
More than 192 participants demonstrated their handball talents.
In a spirited display of skill and sportsmanship, the West Bokaro team clinched the Winner’s title.
The Steel Manufacturing team secured the runner-up position.
The Iron Making team stood as the 2nd runner-up.
Renowned technical officials ensured fair play and rule adherence.
Officials included Firoze Khan, Hassan Imam Mallick, Mohammad Maaz, and others.
Each official performed their roles commendably.
