IIM Honors Tata Steel CEO with Prestigious JRD Tata Award for Leadership

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel CEO and Managing Director T. V. Narendran has been honored with the prestigious IIM-JRD Tata Award 2023 for “Excellence in Corporate Leadership in Metallurgical Industries.

The award, presented by the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), was bestowed during the Institute’s 77th Annual Technical Meeting in Bhubaneswar.

This accolade recognizes Narendran’s significant contributions to the mining and metals sector, reflecting Tata Steel’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and ethical practices.

The IIM-JRD Tata Award was instituted in 2006–07 to honor the legacy of J. R. D. Tata.
