NIT Jamshedpur Spearheads Crucial Industry-Academia Collaboration

NIT Jamshedpur’s Industry-Academia Conclave 2023 marks a significant step in strengthening ties between industry and academia to foster innovation and development.

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, is hosting the Industry-Academia Conclave 2023 from November 23 to 25.

This premier event aims to address critical challenges in industries and institutions.

Experts from various sectors are collaborating to devise successful strategies for all stakeholders.

The conclave was inaugurated by Mr. Uttam Singh, Vice President of Tata Steel, along with eminent guests including Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Chairman of the EAC Industry 1 Committee.

A significant emphasis is placed on developing sustainable solutions for industrial problems and enhancing academic programs.

The conclave also focuses on guiding the local community in establishing startups and developing community frameworks.

The event has attracted 355 participants, including faculty, researchers, and industry experts nationwide.

Notable activities include the lighting of the lamp, Saraswati Vandana, and the unveiling of a souvenir.

Dr. Gautam Sutradhar, Director of NIT Jamshedpur, emphasized the institute’s commitment to the Self-reliant India and Make in India programs.

Collaborations include MoUs with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and the National Institute of Advanced Technology Ranchi.

The conclave’s agenda includes expert dialogues, a yoga session for stress management, and a cultural program.

Dr. Ram Vinay Sharma and other dignitaries were present, underscoring the conclave’s importance in shaping the future of industry-academia partnerships.
