Jamshedpur Administration Tightens Festival Surveillance with Flag March, Crowd Monitoring via CCTVs
In an all-out effort to ensure public safety during Maha Ashtami of Navratri, Jamshedpur’s top officials conduct thorough reviews, bike flag marches, and appeal for public cooperation in maintaining law and order.
JAMSHEDPUR – As the city of Jamshedpur celebrated Maha Ashtami, a critical day during Navratri from the point of view of heavy rush of devotees in pandals, the district administration left no stone unturned to guarantee public safety.
District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kishore Kaushal led the charge in a comprehensive review of law and order from the Composite Control Room (CCR).
Instructions were issued to monitor crowd movements via CCTV cameras installed at major intersections.
A detailed traffic system assessment was also made to avert any congestion during the festivities.
In addition to these precautionary measures, both Mr. Bhajantri and Mr. Kaushal conducted a flag march in the city on bikes, joined by DDC, City SP, Rural SP, SDM Dhalbhum, and ASP City.
They inspected various puja pandals across key locations like Sakchi, Burmamines, and Bagbera, among others, issuing necessary guidelines to officials for smooth traffic flow.
An appeal was made to the devotees to celebrate the festival in an atmosphere of harmony and to cooperate with the district administration.
Mr. Bhajantri emphasized that all activities are being continuously monitored from the district level control room, war room, and additional control rooms in the Ghatshila sub-division to ensure the safety of devotees and better maintenance of law and order.
