Nirbhay Singh Flays Minister Banna Gupta, Dist Police for Trying to Keep Abhay Singh in Jail

BJP leader Abhay Singh’s brother Nirbhay Singh alleges political conspiracy to keep his brother in jail.

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Abhay Singh’s brother Nirbhay Singh Tuesday criticized Minister Banna Gupta and the district police for trying to keep his brother in jail.

He said that the police and Banna Gupta are getting cases registered against his family for harassing them.

He also said that they would, however, not be cowed down by such antics.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Nirbhay Singh said that the minister and the police were working together to ensure his brother’s continued detention.

Nirbhay Singh defended his brother, stating that Abhay Singh wasn’t involved in the Kadma violence, yet his name was implicated.

He further claimed that as soon as Abhay received bail in one case, police promptly launched investigations into another, reflecting a pattern to keep his brother under custody.

According to Nirbhay Singh, a fraudulent extortion case was filed against his brother by a builder in 2020.

He expressed apprehensions that even if Abhay Singh receives bail in the current ransom case, the police could implicate him in another.

Nirbhay Singh heavily criticized Minister Banna Gupta and the police of Jamshedpur, accusing them of orchestrating his brother’s arrest and incarceration.

He vowed that his family wouldn’t be frightened by the continuous legal proceedings and that Abhay Singh would not compromise his religious beliefs.
