Visually Challenged Entrepreneur Bhavesh Bhatia Delivers Stirring Speech at Jamshedpur Event

Bhavesh Bhatia, visually challenged entrepreneur and founder of Sunrise Candles, delivered an inspiring speech at a Jamshedpur event, highlighting self-belief and resolve.

JAMSHEDPUR – Today, the Michael John Auditorium in Jamshedpur was abuzz with an enthralled crowd as renowned speaker Bhavesh Bhatia took the stage for a presentation that was both engaging and uplifting.

Broadcast live for Tata Steel workers across all locations, the event drew a lively audience.

Bhavesh Bhatia, a visually impaired businessman and the mind behind Sunrise Candles in Maharashtra, moved the audience with his remarkable journey.

Battling retinal macular degeneration, he defied odds to achieve outstanding success, even representing and securing medals at the Paralympic games.

Before the proceedings formally began, Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President of the Tata Workers’ Union (TWU), extended a hearty welcome and underscored the significance of drawing inspiration from Bhatia’s life story.

Satish Kumar Singh, the TWU’s General Secretary, shed light on the union’s century-long legacy and the crucial role of resilience in attaining success.

Praising TWU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, the event’s chief guest, Atrayee Sanyal, Vice President of Human Resource Management at Tata Steel, also graced the occasion with her remarks.

Through poignant anecdotes and real-life examples, Bhatia’s compelling speech underscored the importance of persistence, dedication, and a positive outlook in realizing one’s personal and professional goals, leaving a lasting impact on the listeners.

The event was attended by a slew of distinguished guests, including vice presidents of Tata Steel, leaders of Tata Steel group companies, former TWU presidents, representatives from other corporate unions, TWU committee members, and employees of the company.

Ensuring a seamless run of the event, Jaideo Upadhyaya, director of the Michael John Centre, acted as the anchor of the program.
