Chaibasa District Sainik Board organizes an informative camp at Army Camp Sonari for ex-servicemen and brave women.
JAMSHEDPUR – Under Colonel Kishore Singh’s leadership, an enlightening awareness camp was held.
The Family Welfare Center of Army Camp Sonari was the venue.
The objective was to inform retired servicemen about their welfare and new policy introductions.
Distinguished Attendees and Event Highlights
Station Headquarters Adm. Commandant Lt. Col. Rajesh Gupta, Officer Incharge of ECHS Lt. Col. Tejpal Bajwa, and Veterans Dr. Brigadier Niranjan Col. Chaturbhuj Nath Lt. Col. Dr. Vikas, were among the attendees.
Kolhan’s Gaurav Senani and Veer Nari also participated.
At the onset, the program paid tribute to the brave soldiers and ex-servicemen who lost their lives in the past three months.
Financial Assistance and Support Policies
Information was shared about financial assistance from the state government for treating life-threatening diseases.
Details about pension, scholarship, employment, and life certificate records were also provided.
Ex-servicemen of Kolhan were encouraged to participate in local organizations to stay updated about available facilities.
Lt. Col. Tejpal Bajwa explained the process of acquiring a 64 KV card to those without one.
Towards Better Healthcare and Future Plans
Polyclinic Jamshedpur aims to provide comprehensive health treatment for every ex-serviceman.
Two Veer Naris received their checks during the camp.
Veterans shared their problems and received guidance from the District Sainik Board’s Clerk.
The Welfare Officer distributed Veterans Badges to some attendees.
Plans to grandly celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26 were announced.
The program’s success was a collective effort of hundreds of proud fighters.
