JAMSHEDPUR – The industrial growth in the Kolhan region received a significant focus in a recent meeting, where the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) voiced concerns and discussed potential solutions with Jitendra Kumar Singh, Secretary of Industries for the Government of Jharkhand, along with other notable executives and officials.

During this crucial gathering, Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL, threw light on the issues faced by businesses in Adityapur in securing power authorizations from the Jharkhand government.

He advised the simplification of the approval process to ensure all industries had access to power.

Simultaneously, regional infrastructure concerns were addressed by Prem Ranjan, Regional Director of JIADA Jamshedpur.

He assured the restoration of roads within the Adityapur industrial area in a timely manner.

This meeting also served as a platform for the discussion of commercial issues, such as parking.

The Secretary of Industries, Mr. Singh, made a commitment to swiftly resolving these concerns. He also underscored the importance of an airport’s establishment for the overall economic prosperity of the region.

Mr. Singh, while acknowledging the problems and the necessity for growth in the industrial sector of Kolhan, highlighted the government’s role in this context.
