Jamshedpur’s Congress Workers Allege Misconduct by Bagbera Police, Demand Action

Congress party workers in Jamshedpur lodge complaint against local police officers, claiming misconduct and refusal to file FIR.

Jamshedpur – In a serious development, Congress party workers in Jamshedpur have lodged a written complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) against 3 police officers, all of whom are posted at the Bagbera police station.

The party workers allege that these three sub-inspectors behaved improperly with them and even chased them away from the police station when they attempted to file a complaint.

The party workers, unsuccessful in meeting the SSP, managed to present their case to the SP (Rural).

They have vowed not to rest until these three police officers are dismissed and action is taken against them.

The workers said that such officers tarnish the image of the government.

The incident that sparked the confrontation involved a local woman.

The Congress workers claim they visited the police station to support her, but were met with misbehavior from the officers on duty, who also reportedly refused to file an FIR.
