Jamshedpur’s ‘Seva Hi Lakshya’ Launches Swarg Rath Service for Poor and Working-Class on 6th Anniversary

Seva Lakshya launches Swarg Rath service in Jamshedpur, providing affordable transportation for deceased to cremation ground for poor families.

Jamshedpur: Seva Hi Lakshya, a social organization in Jamshedpur, marked its sixth anniversary by launching Swarg Rath, a service aimed at helping poor and working-class families transport deceased loved ones to the cremation ground.

The initiative seeks to alleviate financial burdens for families during difficult times.

A special worship ceremony was held at the organization’s office, attended by the local district councilor, Poornima Mallik.

Following the ceremony, the Swarg Rath was dedicated to serving the public.

Manik Mallik, president of Seva Lakshya, emphasized that many poor and laborers in the area struggle with the costs associated with transporting the deceased to the cremation ground, which can range from three to four thousand rupees.

The Swarg Rath service aims to address this issue by offering an affordable solution.

Manik Mallik also expressed the organization’s commitment to continue engaging in public interest projects in the future.
