Fire Breaks Out in Illegal Scrap Shop at Sonari Nirmal Nagar Basti Causing Apprehension in Residential Area

Jamshedpur: A fire broke out in a plastic and iron scrap shop located in the Nirmal Nagar township under the Sonari police station of Jamshedpur on Wednesday morning.

The cause of the fire has not been identified yet, and no casualties have been reported. However, the incident has created chaos in the area since there are many houses located adjacent to the scrap shop, and all the houses are kutcha.

According to local sources, the scrap shop was functioning illegally for the past two months.

As soon as the fire broke out, people in the locality tried to control it, but they were not successful due to the presence of a large amount of scrap plastic in the shop, which helped the fire to spread quickly.

The incident created apprehension in the area, and two fire tenders were called in to control the fire.

It took the fire brigade personnel a considerable amount of time and effort to douse the flames. Thankfully, no injuries or loss of life has been reported.

The incident has raised concerns about illegal activities taking place in residential areas and the need for better safety measures to prevent such incidents from happening.

Police authorities are investigating the matter to determine the cause of the fire and to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
