Sarhul symbolizes nature’s inherent harmony: Raghubar Das

Jamshedpur: The National Vice-president of BJP and the former chief minster of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das, today said that Sarhul festival denotes the nature’s inherent harmony and underlines its importance for humanity.

He underlined the need to co-exist with nature while taking part in Sarhul festival celebrations at Sitaramdera.

The Sarhul festival symbolizes the beginning of the agricultural cycle and is a prominent festival centred on protecting nature. It is today being commemorated across the Jharkhand with a lot of zeal.

The tribal community in Jamshedpur enthusiastically and fervently observed the Sarhul festival on Friday.

Raghuvar Das, the former chief minister and national vice president of the BJP, took part in the Sarhul Puja that was held in Old Sitaramdera.

He prayed for the wellbeing and prosperity of the people of Jharkhand after performing prayers at the revered Jaherthan.

At the site of the Sarhul worship, the BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President, Gunjan Yadav, also performed Puja.

Mr. Das stressed that Sarhul is a significant celebration of nature worship and that tribal society’s love of nature must endure.

He continued by saying that humans and nature are interdependent, and that it is impossible to envision humanity without nature.

He also underlined the need for everyone, not only indigenous people, to be aware of and take action to preserve environment.

Mr. Das continued by saying that the Sarhul celebration sends a message to us about the value of nature.

We all have a duty to use more caution when it comes to preserving and promoting environment, especially at a time when the world is dealing with a catastrophe like global warming.
