Farmer prosperity is critical for country’s prosperity: Jharkhand Governor

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais today said that farmers’ prosperity is critical to the country’s prosperity.

He was addressing a Nabard workshop at Karim City College in Jamshedpur.

On Wednesday, Governor Ramesh Bais arrived in Jamshedpur and was greeted by a guard of honor at the Circuit House.

The Kolhan Commissioner, Manoj Kumar, and the district’s Deputy Commissioner presented the Governor with a bouquet.

The Governor came to Jamshedpur to attend a NABARD workshop on agriculture and rural economics at Karim City College.

Governor Ramesh Bais stated in his speech that the government’s policies are leading to farmer prosperity and that the country’s economy can only be strong if farmers are happy.

The Governor emphasized the importance of bolstering the rural economy and the need for a separate farm policy. He acknowledged that farmers face ongoing challenges and advocated for efforts to empower them.

The workshop drew scientists and professors from across the country.

The Governor urged these experts to create agriculture-based technologies to support farmers’ roles in modern India.

He reiterated that farmer prosperity is critical to the country’s prosperity.
