Dead bodies of a boy and a girl were found hanging in Kalajor village under the jurisdiction of MGM Police Station area. Police are still investigating the reasons of their death.
Jamshedpur: Dead bodies of a boy and a girl were found from Kalajhor village under the jurisdiction of MGM Police station in Jamshedpur Thursday morning. Police are still investigating the case and are looking into all angles, including that of honour killing.
The dead bodies were allegedly found hanging from a tree in Kalajhor village in East Singhbhum district.
A crowd of villagers had gathered after the information about the dead bodies being found hanging spread in the area.
MGM Police Station In-charge Mithlesh Singh said that the information about the case is still being gathered.
He said that only after questioning the villagers and the relatives of the deceased can all aspects of the case can be ascertained.
The deceased boy and girl have been identified.
The deceased boy and girl allegedly wanted to marry each other.
It is not known yet whether their families were against their wish to marry or not. The reason of their death is also under investigation for now.
This village is adjacent to Dalma Hills and is in a remote area.
