Woman’s body found on the banks of Subarnarekha river in Sidgora

A woman’s dead body was recovered from the banks of Subarnrekha river on Tuesday. Police are now investigating the reasons of death and efforts are on to identify the deceased.

Jamshedpur: A woman’s dead body was found on the banks of Subarnrekha river on Tuesday. Locals informed the police about this.

On being informed about the body of a year-old unidentified woman being washed away by water from the banks of Swarnarekha river near Bagunhatu Neem Bhattha under Sidgora police station.

The police reached the site and found the body of the woman in the water on the river bank.

The police, with the help of local people, took out the body from the river and started investigation.

The police are trying to identify the deceased woman and is speaking to the locals.

However, police suspect that the body might have been carried by the waters and may have come from some other place by the strong current of the river.

The police did the inquest of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
