No corona death in Jamshedpur on Sunday, 7 new cases

Jamshedpur: Only 7 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected on Sunday in East Singhbhum district as the day passed off without any pandemic-related death being reported from anywhere in the district.

Sunday was the 29th straight day of no corona death in East Singhbhum district as the death toll for the district remained static at 375 at the end of the day.

As per official data, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. With this, the total number of infected persons in the district has now reached 18,122. On the other hand,11 persons were also cured and discharged. The total number of recoveries in the district has now reached 17,688.

For now, the district has only 59 active cases.

According to official data, the recovery rate for the district has now reached 97.64%, while the mortality rate is hovering around 2.07%. The positivity rate for the district till Thursday end was 3.34%
