Corona causes no deaths in Jharkhand, 38 new cases

Ranchi: Coronavirus pandemic did not cause any death in Jharkhand on Monday as the total death toll remained static at 1,078.

According to official data, 38 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the state taking the total number of infections to 1,19,055. On the other hand, 31 patients were also cured and discharged from hospitals and home quarantine taking the tota number of recoveries in the state to 1,17,539.

Till date, 52,90,647 samples have been tested in the state, while the the number of active cases of coronavirus infection is 438.

The recovery rate in the state has now reached 98.72%, while the mortality rate remains at 0.90%.
