Corona Monday in Jamshedpur: No deaths, 19 new cases

15 cured, recovery rate 97%, mortality rate 2.2%, positivity rate 4.1%

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus caused no deaths in Jamshedpur on Monday, although 19 fresh positive cases of infection were identified in East Singhbhum district. While, the total death toll due to the virus remains static at 374, the number of total infections in the city has gone up to 17,101.

According to official data, on Monday, 15 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals. The number of total recoveries in the district has now gone up to 16,552.

The number of active patients in the district is also declining steadily and on Monday the total number of active coronavirus infection cases in the district had come down to only 175.

The recovery rate, however, remains static at 97%, while the mortality rate too remains stable at 2.2%. However, the positivity rate for the district has been declining steadily and on Monday it was at 4.1%.
