Seraikela: The Seraikela-Kharsawan police have achieved a major success as it cracked a case of abduction of a 4-year-old minor child within hours and arrested a woman for her abduction.
The SDPO of Chandil, D N Banka, said that a 4-year-old child went missing in Asanboni village in Chandil. The matter was reported to the police by the family Saturday morning.
He said that soon after the information reached it, the police relayed it throughout the district and child’s photograph was circulated everywhere.
During intensive checking, the police found Jyotsana Kumari from near Kharkai Bridge with a woman named Jyotsana Kumari.
The SDPO said that thanks to quick action from the police department, the child was rescued within hours of the information reaching the police.
The rescue of the child and the arrest of the abductor woman is being viewed as a big success for the Chandil police.
