13 new positive cases, total active 1,180, total deaths 356, recovery rate 91%, mortality 2.2%, positivity rate 5.1%
Jamshedpur: Coronavirus showed mercy to the people of Jamshedpur as it did not claim any life on Sunday too. Today was the fifth day for the city with zero death due to coronavirus.
As predicted earlier, coronavirus is certainly on a decline in the city for now as there has been a dip in almost all data that indicate ferocity of the pandemic.
According to official data, only 13 new coronavirus infection cases have been detected in the district on Sunday. With this, the total number of infection cases in the district has reached 16,177. On the other hand, 28 patients were cured and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine in the city. Till date, 14,641 patients have been cured and discharged in the district.
For now, the number of active cases in the district is 1,180. As per official data, till date, 3,18,919 samples have been tested in the district, out of which 3,02,742 samples have come out negative, w3hile 16,177 samples have tested positive. The total death toll for the district remains at 356.
The recovery rate for the district is 91%, mortality rate is at 2.2%, while the total positivity rate is 5.1%.
