Active corona cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district slides to 142

Seraikela: The number of active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has now come down to 142 on Friday from 143 on Thursday. Though the slide is only marginal, the trend of decline in the number of active cases continues and that is a positive sign.

According to official data, the district has tested a total of 1,34,559 samples. Out of these, 1,26,035 samples were found negative, while 3,462 samples tested positive.

Till date, 3,309 patients in the district have already been cured and discharged, while the total death toll remains constant at 11 for past several days.

The district now has 142 total active cases of coronavirus infection. The test results of 5,203 samples have are yet awaited. On Friday, 1,409 samples were collected.
