Active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan slide to 165 on Tuesday

Jamshedpur: The number of active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has now come down from 173 to 165 on Tuesday. The total number of deaths due to corona in the district remains stable at 11.

According to official data, the district has tested 1,31,236 samples till Tuesday. Out of these, 1,23,047 samples have tested negative. However, 3,438 samples have tested positive.

Meanwhile, even among these infected persons, 3,262 have already recovered and have been discharged from hospitals and home quarantine.

For now, the number of total active cases remains at 165, while 11 persons have succumbed to coronavirus.

The test results of 4,892 samples are still awaited. On Tuesday, a total of 1,564 samples have been collected by the district health department.
